If your boss asks you to put £1,000 in a safe place, where would you put it? Maybe an onsite safe? A tucked away drawer? Perhaps just hiding it in a closet somewhere in a box temporarily? Well, bartender Luke Woolston decided an oven would be a great place to hide some cash. Unfortunately, that oven was still on and the money burned up.
I actually like how the boss didn’t make too big a deal about it considering the employee had worked there for a couple years without any problems. Of course, I’m sure the bartender wasn’t let off the hook without at least some sort of screaming.
File that under burn baby burn.
As you’ve already noticed, Office Humor Blog has recently received a new coat of paint. I’ve ditched the 800×600 compliant layout for a larger 1024 width compliant layout. This has allowed me to add some newer features (such as recent comments) as well as push the main content higher up on the page. I plan on adding even more features to the site in the coming days, so keep yours eyes peeled.
Did you know that you can easily subscribe to all the great office humor posts you see here using this RSS feed? Don’t know exactly what an RSS feed is or why you should subscribe? Well, if you use My Yahoo, Bloglines, Google’s newly renamed iGoogle, or any other blog/feed reader, you can take the Office Humor Blog feed link posted above and have all the jokes, pranks, news, videos, and more right there on your feed reading program/webpage.
Of course, if that all sounds incredibly complicated and confusing, there are some convenient short cut links on the bottom of the right panel here that will allow you to quickly and easily add Office Humor Blog posts to your favorite feed sites.

I’ve added a new design to the Office Gear section of the SIAB GEAR store – Disgruntled. The design is featured on all the popular products, shirts, hats, mugs – even the teddy bear.
The grey used in the design looks incredibly good on the white background products as well as on the darkest colored shirts. Some of the lighter colored shirts (light red, light blue, etc) don’t look nearly as sharp in my opinion. But, like I said, that’s just my opinion so make sure head on over to the store and decide for yourself.
The devil visited a lawyer’s office and made him an offer.
“I can arrange some things for you,” the devil said. “I’ll increase your income five-fold; your partners will love you; your clients will respect you; you’ll have four months of vacation each year and live to be 100. All I require in return is that your wife’s soul, your children’s souls, and their children’s souls will rot in hell for eternity.”
The lawyer thought for a moment. “So, what’s the catch?” he asked.

I’ll be out of town for all of next week, so the site will be a bit slower than normal. I have setup the daily office jokes so those will be here each day like always, but there will probably not be much else. I plan on going full steam right when I get back and hopefully get some more original content on here going forward.
I’ve just added a new design to the Office Humor section of the SIAB GEAR store. This new design is specially made for the office jokesters out there as it reads “I was promised a holiday bonus and all I got was this stupid shirt.”
If you’ve got some coworkers with a great sense of humor, or even if you just feel like giving out some gag gifts, this latest design is perfect for the holiday season. With everybody hoping for bonuses, giving out this shirt as a gag first will surely get more than a few laughs. You can also buy one for yourself and wear it around the office letting people know your frustration with not getting a bonus this year.

I’ve put up a couple new designs for you all to check out. Both are in the Office Gear section and both are fun work related acronyms.
The first design is the ever popular NSFW, which you all have probably come across if you spend enough time on the Web. It’s the tag people place on images, posts, and links warning the visitor that the content may be “Not Safe For Work”. With this NSFW design you can tell your office that you truly are not safe for work.
The second design is TGINM, a new acronym I came up with (though it’s probably been done before). TGINM stands for “Thank God It’s Not Monday” which is obviously a play on the TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday) saying, though this new one works 6 out of 7 days so clearly it’s better!
There is a Halloween Sale going on right now that will end 10/18/06, so make sure you do your shopping by then if you want to take advantage of the $10 off $50 promotion!
If you’re looking for some fake forms to send to your boss to get out of work, you can check out these downloadable prank forms and see if anything there could work for you.
There’s a fake army draft letter, fake love mail, and a few others that may make for some great excuses or at least for some fun office pranks.

The Squirrelinabox Store has now become SIAB GEAR and along with the brand change, a new site for news as well as a new section for Television Gear have been created. Not only that, I’m currently running a grand reopening promotion with reduced prices on all items, which means all your favorite office humor gear is on sale as well.
