It seems as though there are an endless amount of stories dealing with identity theft. Of course, it's not too often you read about a person who catches the person who stole their identity. In fact, the customer service representative actually caught the person when the thief was trying to open a credit account with the rep's stolen identity.

I'm not sure there is a penalty stiff enough to punish identity thieves. I've heard of so many cases of people's lives being ruined by identity theft, so it's nice to see a person find the very person who stole their identity. Of course, it would have been a better story if the woman took the thief outside for a "talk" before calling the authorities.
