While some may dread having to attend a company holiday party, I personally like the idea of having some sort of year-end party to loosen up and have a good time. Obviously, this is especially the case when a holiday party can be thrown and attended during work hours.

the best is to go to other office parties, free booze, act like a fool and no post holiday brown nosing to your boss to make up for the fun you had.
