Loading ...We have all worked in an office with at least one email abusing coworker. Whether they cc everybody, reply-all to every message, or just mark everything they send as urgent, email abusers are just plain annoying.
Just like in the linked story, I used to work in an office where a coworker would send an “urgent” email every friday warning people to clean out the fridge. Of course, marking it as “urgent” wasn’t enough as each email had to have giant multi-colored text along with some annoying animated gif. Needless to say, everybody quickly learned to just click the delete button when those emails showed up in their inboxes.
Misuse of the cc feature also bugs the hell out of me. As a software developer, I don’t want to be cc’d on every single piece of email that goes in and out of the office, especially when clients and non technical people then get my email and decide to send things to me when I shouldn’t have to deal with their nonsense.
