The following video is obviously a fake, but it should still get a laugh or two. It would also be a great video to send to a coworker if they’re currently stuck on hold to maybe give them ideas on how to relieve some stress.

While about 80% of you said that you’ve pranked a coworker, only 55% have actually being on the receiving end of a work prank.
Have you ever been pranked by a coworker?
- Yes (55%, 24 Votes)
- No (45%, 20 Votes)
I did expect the number of “prankees” to be a bit less than the 80% found for prankers, but apparently the difference is actually quite a lot. It must be nice to be able to pull off an office prank without retaliation – though you’re victims may all be plotting their revenge at this very moment!
People keep saying a million bucks just ain’t what it used to be. Well, obviously that means that earning $100K a year isn’t quite what it used to be either – especially when you decide living in a house or apartment costs just too much money while living in the company shed would make more sense.
Sure, the article says the shed had a couch, microwave, and refrigerator, but I see no mention of a television – so that rules me out. Actually, they also mention that the man is now living with his wife, which begs the question: what the heck was the wife doing this whole time? Great way to say I love you – rather than staying at home with your wife, you choose a shed on company property.
File that under shed timeshares are selling like hotcakes.

It’s always pretty embarassing when your family decides to surprise you by showing up at your work. Of course, when they show up to rob the place, that’s a whole other matter.
The obvious question would be whether or not the employee new her parents and husband were going to rob the place and whether or not she helped in some way. The police say they won’t be filing charges against the pizza restaurant employee, but I just don’t see how she could be that oblivious to her family’s intentions. If she truly is innocent, then it’s even more amazing that her family would do that to her.
File that under mmm… pizza.

We have all worked in an office with at least one email abusing coworker. Whether they cc everybody, reply-all to every message, or just mark everything they send as urgent, email abusers are just plain annoying.
Just like in the linked story, I used to work in an office where a coworker would send an “urgent” email every friday warning people to clean out the fridge. Of course, marking it as “urgent” wasn’t enough as each email had to have giant multi-colored text along with some annoying animated gif. Needless to say, everybody quickly learned to just click the delete button when those emails showed up in their inboxes.
Misuse of the cc feature also bugs the hell out of me. As a software developer, I don’t want to be cc’d on every single piece of email that goes in and out of the office, especially when clients and non technical people then get my email and decide to send things to me when I shouldn’t have to deal with their nonsense.
You have any email pet peeves not mentioned in the article?
If you’re teaching a course that has anything to do with firearms, perhaps you shouldn’t shoot yourself while teaching. The firearms instructor (who also happens to be a police chief) “voluntarily” quit after the incident.
What’s next? The sexual harassment instructor pinching a coworker in the butt or the local first aid instructor dying from excessive blood loss after a paper cut?
File that under on the job irony.

If you’re listing an ad for a job hotline, you may want to double check the phone number – you wouldn’t want to accidentally put up a phone number that’s for women looking for sex.
I wonder if anybody looking for a job also found a special someone to spend some quality time with? I’m curious to know just how close the numbers are to each other or if somebody deliberately made the switch. While that’d definitely be a hilarious prank, I’m thinking it’d likey get your butt fired.
File that under what kind of job are you offering?

Okay, so you’ve probably seen quite a few office rage videos where an employee goes crazy on their computer – heck I’ve posted a bunch of ‘em here. Well, the following video is a five minute long compilation that’s definitely gonna contain some breakdowns you haven’t seen yet. Next time you feel like going nuts on your office equipment, perhaps you should just watch this video instead.

Apparently the tides are turning as 4 out of 5 British men say that they’ve been sexually harassed by women at work. Making matters worse, 85% of employers admit that they take complaints of sexual harassment from men less seriously than from women employees.
Great… so basically this means both men and women are being way too uptight at work now. What ever happened to just having to watch what you say around women? Hopefully this is just a British thing, though the whole political correctness movement seems to have much more momentum that I would have ever thought.
File that under mandatory sensitivity training is on the horizon.
