Loading ...The waiting business is definitely a tough business as is evident by this story of a Fort Lauderdale waiter being fired after he left the restaurant to help a woman who was being carjacked.
You’ve gotta be a pretty cold-hearted bastard of a boss to fire an employee who goes out of his way to save a woman and her car. I’m not sure about you, but I would have rewarded the guy and then I would have tried to market the incident to gain publicity for the restaurant and the waiter. Seems like a win-win to me.
File that under and bosses are usually so understanding.
