Loading ...All lawyer jokes aside, it’s sad to hear that a woman stole from her boss, a boss that happens to be a blind attorney. His blindess was actually the reason she took advantage of him, as she had him sign checks made out to herself, telling him they were for other legitimate expenses.
The total amount stolen is reported to be at least $14,000 and the lawyer has been struggling to get his credit cleared. Perhaps the oddest thing in the story is that the lawyer said the woman sent him an email confessing she was draining his bank account. Now, I’m no rocket scientist, but if he’s blind, how’s he supposed to read the email? I guess he could have one of those speaking modules installed that would read the email out loud to him, but that makes it even sadder thinking about him having to hear about it from his computer.
File that under I’m guessing she’s fired.
