News: Working Moms Live Healthier Lives

You may have thought being a working mom was bad for your health, but this newly released study says otherwise.

Though the study doesn’t provide any real reasons for why working moms appear to be healthier than full time homemakers, it does provide a few good details on the actual health and perceived health of various categories of women (working mothers, full-time homemakers, single working mothers, the childless, multiply-married working moms, and intermittently-employed married mothers).

Stress is often considered a large factor in the health of a person, so does that mean that full-time homemakers really are more stressed than full-time working mothers? I don’t know, but that’d be an interesting correlation for them to analyze further.

File that under let’s see the same for fathers.
