Google has revealed a new service in their Google Labes called Google Trends. The tool lets you fill in a search term or terms and see stats on the searching patterns.
You can see the which cities search for the term the most as well as a timeline that shows related news posts that may or may not be connected with spikes in the searches.
You can also search for more than one phrase at a time to see a comparison of the two. This comparison feature would be a great alternative to the previously posted office diversion: google it for settling debates. If you compare good and evil, for instance, you’ll see that good does in fact triumph over evil.
