Prank 16: Packed In

Let's face it, some of your coworker's things are probably too loose inside their drawers... you better put some packing peanuts in there to secure everything.

Requirements:

  • Time (low) - doesn't take too long to fill up some drawers.
  • Cost (low) - if you can't find any extra packaging peanuts then you'll have to buy some which are usually pretty cheap.
  • Risk (low) - as long as you don't break anything while packing in all the peanuts, you should be fine.

Steps:

  1. Obtain a bunch of packing peanuts (sometimes called popcorn). If you can't find either and don't want to buy any, you can also use shredded paper.
  2. If you want to empty out your coworker's drawers and fill them with only packing material, then do that next. If not, just fill it all up with your peanuts or shreddings.

Result:

You're coworker should have some drawers filled to the brim with packing material. If you left their stuff in the drawers then your cowoker will have to go through it all to get whatever they need (this is why I think leaving everything in is better, unless there are some breakable/valuable items).

If you want to take this prank further, you can fill up everything else you can near their desk. This includes mugs, boxes, briefcases, etc. If they left a jacket at their desk, you can also tape the sleeves and fill the sleeves with the packing material for added effect.
