Fire Fox Problems

Ok, so everything didn’t go quite as smooth as I thought. Apparently Fire Fox doesn’t like my new design so much. Actually, I found out that Fire Fox was probably messing up my old blog as well.

I personally don’t like Fire Fox, which is weird since I am a computer nerd. My reasoning is that since IE is used by something like 70% of the population, any other browsers should be compatible with the same standards that IE is compatible with. For instance, I made this new layout and design while checking it in IE. I use IE as my test since, like I said before, it’s used by a vast majority of users. Yes, I should have checked in Fire Fox as well, but the thing is, nobody should have to do multiple checks in multiple browsers. I shouldn’t have to sacrifice certain design elements because Fire Fox can’t figure them out the same way IE can.

Anyway, I do plan on at least attempting to make the site work correctly in Fire Fox, but if it requires me to completely rework the site, then forget it. I rather 70% of the population see what I want them to see than rework it all and have 100% of the population see a dumbed down and not as cool version.

Well it seems it always takes a girl to tell you when something is wrong, I believe that was in the girlfriends handbook :)
Anyways, just wanted to say the site looks good in IE :)

Yes, it was my girlfriend that let me know. Of course she could have let me know BEFORE :(

Anyway, as you can see, smilies are also enabled here.
