Gifts 7: Subscriptions

With today being “Cyber Monday” (the biggest online shopping day of the year here in the U.S.) I figured I should probably do an Office Gifts post. This post focuses on subscriptions, with so many of them being out there, you really can’t go wrong buying somebody a subscription to one of their favorite interests.

  • The Wall Street Journal Online - If you or a coworker are into the latest Wall Street happenings, then the Wall Street Journal is your best bet for the latest and greatest.
  • GameFly.com - Similar to Netflix but for games. You pay a small monthly fee and are able to keep renting new games when you’re done with the old ones.
  • Club Pogo - An online gaming site. You can check it out with a 14 day trial and see if it has the kind of games you or somebody you know would enjoy.
  • Pongo Resume - A great site for creating, managing, faxing, and emailing your resumes. There’s a free trial to check it out, and then you can subscribe monthly or yearly to use their services.
  • Kodak EasyShare Gallery - A cool online photo sharing site. You can create your own “galleries” then share them with all your family and friends.
  • Napster.com - Napster has gone legitimate and has a service similar to iTunes but is subscription based.
  • Magazines- This site has a large collection of magazine subscriptions available for a discount.
